System Requirements for Proprietary Ad Systems Built by Platforms and OS Providers

About the Requirements

The Digital Advertising Industry Requirements for Proprietary Ad Systems built by Platforms and OS Providers grew out of the next stage of the Privacy Sandbox Requirements that were on the roadmap of the Privacy Sandbox Task Force.

The Task Force was an initiative within IAB Tech Lab which brought together esteemed product development leaders across the industry to study and evaluate the implications in the deployment of Google’s Privacy Sandbox. With changes in the ecosystem, the remit of this group has expanded to include other proprietary Ad Systems such as Microsoft’s Ad System API. These new published requirements represent the output of that work.

Feedback is welcome on the Proprietary Ad Systems requirements, and anyone wanting to get involved in refining these industry requirements or evaluating future initiatives should join the working group, which will be renamed to Private Ad Systems Task Force, and have an updated charter, by emailing techlab@iabtechlab.com
