In early 2020, Chrome announced its intent to remove support for third-party cookies, by the start of 2022. This has created a watershed inflexion point on how the advertising targeting will work in the future. Google itself has further unveiled its innovation to build a Privacy Sandbox that would protect anonymity while still delivering results for advertisers and publishers.
