Here at IAB Tech Lab we are always looking for ways to engage with the industry and spark meaningful conversations around the most pressing topics in digital advertising. Over the last few months we have had a number of meaningful conversations on topics such as curation and brand safety that have grown naturally from chatter within the industry.
Given the value of these conversations, we are looking to create some more structure in how we engage in channels beyond the traditional working groups, email, and at events. Our new social media series: “Tech Lab Asks the Industry” will be a series of social media polls where we will be capturing real-time insights from professionals across the ecosystem as well as how we can do better.
Why Are We Launching This?
As the ad tech landscape continues to evolve at a rapid pace from privacy, data governance, programmatic innovations, to AI’s rise in digital advertising, the industry is facing complex challenges and opportunities. This is why we are launching this series to collect more input from our community on a variety of topics to help shape the future of standards we develop.
How this Works:
Bi-weekly we will pose a different but relevant industry question that we invite ad tech professionals, marketers, publishers, and other stakeholders to share their perspectives. We will pose these questions on Tech Lab’s social media platforms and encourage you to vote, comment, and share!
Some of the questions will be highly relevant on issues and concerns being discussed in the industry, others will be a bit more lighthearted, and it’s likely one or two will stir up controversy. We hope you’ll come along for the ride with us and participate and comment. We promise to read all replies.
